Step back in time as you walk through the cobblestone streets of Medieval cities like Regensburg, Nuremberg and Bamberg. Day 1: Budapest (embark)

Featured Excursion: Arrive at Budapest Ferihegy International Airport where you will be transferred to the ship. (D)

Day 2: Budapest

Featured Excursion: Budapest city tour

See Budapest’s famous 19th-century Chain Bridge, St. Stephen’s Basilica, the stunning Parliament Building, and the UNESCO World Heritage-designated Castle Hill district. (BB, L, Captain’s Welcome Gala)

Day 3: Crusing the Danube

Enjoy a leisure day onboard with scenic sailing through Hungary, Slovakia, and Austria. (BB, L, D)

Day 4: Vienna

Featured Excursion: Vienna city tour and National Library visit

Your Vienna excursion will take you along the stately Ringstrasse to magnificent St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Then visit the stunning National Library. (BB, L, D)

Note: On Mondays, the Mozarthaus will be substituted for the Library.

Day 5: Cruising the Wachau Valley, Melk

Featured Excursion: Melk Abbey visit

Cruise the UNESCO World Heritage-designated Wachau Valley. Later, tour Melk’s 900-year-old Benedictine abbey, a masterpiece of Baroque art and architecture, situated high atop the granite cliffs of the Danube. (BB, L, D)

Day 6: Passau

Featured Excursion: Passau walking tour and organ concert

Explore charming Old Town Passau on foot and visit St. Stephan’s Cathedral for an organ recital on Europe’s largest pipe organ. (BB, L, D)

Day 7: Regensburg

Day 9: Bamberg (Hassfurt)

Day 10: Würzburg

Day 12: Miltenberg (Heidelberg)

Visit Heidelberg, one of the best-preserved Medieval cities in Europe, which is home to the most beautiful Renaissance castle ruins on the continent. (BB, D)

Day 13: Rüdesheim, Cologne

Featured Excursion: Gondola ride to the Niederwald Monument

Take a scenic gondola ride above the vineyards to the Niederwald Monument. Later in the day, cruise the breathtaking romantic Rhine. (BB, L, Captain’s Farewell Dinner)

Day 14: Cologne

Featured Excursion: Cologne walking tour and Cologne Cathedral visit

Visit Cologne’s beloved Gothic Cathedral—a UNESCO World Heritage Site which took over 600 years to build. (BB, L, D)

Day 15: Amsterdam (disembark), transfer to the airport
