Day 1: Amsterdam (D)

Welcome to Amsterdam. This afternoon, a warm welcome awaits you from your crew as you board your Scenic Tours “Space-Ship”.

Day 2: Amsterdam (FB,L,D)

Day 3: Cologne – Coblenz (FB,L,D)

Join your guide this afternoon and explore the Old Town. This evening you can explore the 2,000 year old town Coblenz, situated on the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle Rivers.

Day 4: Rhine Gorge – Rüdesheim (FB,L,D)

Today we cruise the Rhine Gorge. Later visit Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum in Rüdesheim.

Day 5: Wertheim (FB,L,D)

Enjoy free time to explore this little medieval town centre.

Day 6: Würzburg (FB,L,D)

Day 7: Bamberg (FB,L,D)

Explore Bamberg with your guide today. SCENICENRICH Enjoy beer tasting at the Zehnthaus, a private brewery established in 1533, where we are greeted by the cellar master and taken to an underground vault to sample his selection of brews.

Day 8: Nuremberg (FB,L,D)

A guided tour of the old town. Later visit the Nuremberg Trial Sites which were part of the aftermath of WWII.

Day 9: Regensburg (FB,L,D)

On our guided walking tour we see the Old Chapel and visit the magnificent Thurn und Taxis Castle.

Day 10: Passau – Linz (FB,L,D)

Day 11: Melk – Dürnstein – Vienna (FB,L,D)

Discover the magnificent Benedictine Abbey on our guided tour of Melk. SCENICENRICH During our visit inside the Abbey an exclusive organ recital has been arranged. Your ship then sails to picturesque Dürnstein. This evening we arrive in Vienna.

Day 12: Vienna (FB,L,D)

This morning enjoy a guided tour of Vienna. This afternoon your Cruise Director is on hand to help you plan your free time today.SCENICENRICH This evening enjoy a glass of Austrian ‘Sekt’ at the majestic Palais Liechtenstein, followed by a private Viennese concert featuring the music of Strauss and Mozart.

One of Eastern Europe’s most ancient cities will be revealed on our guided tour. This evening, be entertained by folklore music prior to your farewell dinner onboard.

Day 15: Budapest – Prague (FB)

After breakfast this morning we journey to Prague, one of the truly magical cities of Europe.

This morning we will tour the old town with our local guide, ending with coffee and cake. This evening be enthralled by a typical Czech highlight dinner and entertainment.

After breakfast this morning you will be transferred to Prague International Airport for your onward flight to Istanbul.

Two Night Special Stay: Istanbul

Day 19: Istanbul (FB,HD)

Visit the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar. This afternoon cruise the Bosphorus. This special day concludes with a delicious seafood dinner on the Asian shore of the Bosphorus.

Day 20: Istanbul – Gallipoli (FB)

SCENIC FREECHOICE choose from (1) a traditional Turkish cooking class; or (2) a tour of Istanbul’s Byzantine past; or (3) a visit to an Ottoman Yali. Relax this evening before checking out of our hotel for our journey to the Gallipoli Peninsula.

Day 21: Gallipoli – Anzac Day – Canakkale (B,L,D)

As the sun rises on Anzac Cove, take part in the remembrance service for those who lost their lives in 1915 and subsequent battles. Walk to Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair for the Australian and New Zealand ceremonies. Following a light lunch we cross the Dardanelles by ferry to our hotel in Canakkale.

Day 22: Istanbul (FB,HD)

Time to reflect today on our journey back to Istanbul where tonight SCENICENRICH a special treat awaits you as we enjoy our farewell dinner at the stunning Hamdi Restaurant.

This emotive ceremony remembers the proud heritage of the ANZAC corps, the landing in Gallipoli in 1915 and the traditions of courage, mateship and sacrifice that are still part of our society today. ANZAC Day in Gallipoli is perhaps a once in a lifetime opportunity and a brief outline of the day’s events are listed below.
