If we were in real estate instead of hospitality we’d be shouting “Location! Location! Location!” Our eight Lagoon View Studios, ten Superior Bungalows, one Honeymoon Spa Bungalow and restaurant/bar are all right on the lagoon, just ten minutes from the airport and five minutes from Port Vila. The lagoon setting gives a peaceful, romantic ambience and our no-children policy helps it remain that way.

Our contemporary décor is Melanesian in style with exotic timber interiors and furnishings and here’s a list of our features and facilities:

While our King-size beds are certainly comfy and we love seeing our guests around the pool, out on the lagoon or in the bar and restaurant, there’s a lot to do and see in and around Port Vila. We encourage guests to venture out for sightseeing, shopping and sampling some of the other terrific restaurants on offer.

We are happy to give you tips on where to go and what to do and, if you would like tours, activities, hire cars etc booked, we can organise that for you as well.

There are around 30 restaurants in Port Vila and we have advice and some sample menus in reception to help you decide on where to dine out. Our personal favourites include Tilly’s, Eratap Beach Resort, Tamanu on the Beach, Waterfront Bar & Grill and Paradise Cove

And there are some great value options that many visitors don’t get to find out about like Wednesday crepes at Au Peche Mignon, Chill Bar & Restaurant lunch special, Nambawan Café for free moonlight movie nights and the Sunday roast special at Moorings.

Tropical weddings are full of romance, magic and memories and we believe we have one of the best (and certainly best value) wedding packages in the South Pacific.

Sunset Wedding Package

The Sunset Wedding Package is just AUD$1450.00 and includes:

* Detailed meeting with wedding co-ordinator
* Lodging of documentation
* Wedding licence and official registration fees
* Minister fees (weekend fees apply)
* Ceremony location is in our wedding chapel located in the tropical gardens of Sunset Bungalows
Resort, or our overwater deck on the lagoon (other locations are a
vailable within the grounds)

* Tropical decoration of ceremony area including floral archway    * 1 x bottle sparkling wine for toasting after the ceremony
* Chef’s wedding celebration lunch/dinner for two in a romantic setting and specially decorated table (2 Courses and 1 Cocktail each).
* Traditional string band (performance time subject to availability)
* Professional Island bouquet for the Bride
* Professional Buttonhole for the Groom
* Tropical wedding cake for two

Please accept with our compliments in your room on arrival:

* A room upgrade (subject to availability) at check-in.

Optional Extras & Special Requests

We can arrange weddings for most denominations and accommodate any special requests you may have on the day. Optional extras are available and can be arranged for your special day including:

* Attendants’ bouquets, attendants’ buttonholes, floral crowns and anything else you require.

* Price and package inclusions are valid for sale and travel to 31 March 2012
* Minimum 3 night stay at Sunset Bungalows resort required (if less, a $200 surcharge will apply)
* Flowers included in package are local flowers and subject to what’s available at the time of the wedding.

The Paperwork

On the legal side – marriages in Vanuatu are legally recognised in Australia and New Zealand (and other parts of the world) and we need to lodge the following documentation for you – faxed copies of your passports, birth certificates, divorce papers if applicable and a completed Intention to Marry form (Email us for the form and a form for your witnesses if you are inviting guests). The paperwork should be lodged a month prior to the wedding.
