Day 1 CAIROOn arrival into Cairo you will be met and assisted through immigration and customs formalities before being transferred to the hotel. Overnight: Semiramis Intercontinental
Day 2 EGYPTIAN MUSEUM & OLD CAIROThis morning the full day tour starts with the Egyptian Museum, with the world’s most spectacular collection of ancient treasures and antiquities. After lunch at a local restaurant, explore old Cairo visiting the Citadel of Saladin, a fortress built in the 12th century AD, containing the beautiful Mosque of Mohamed Ali, and offering spectacular panoramic views of Cairo. Nearby is the famous Sultan Hassan Mosque and the vibrant Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Overnight: Semiramis Intercontinental.
Day 3 CAIRO TO LUXORTransfer to the airport for flight to Luxor where you board the luxurious Nile Express cruise boat for 4 nights. The afternoon is spent touring the Temples of Karnak and Luxor. Dinner on board. Overnight: Cruise Ship
Day 4 VALLEY OF THE KINGSMorning visit to the West Bank and explore the ancient Valley of the Kings & Queens. Here, magnificent tombs were carved into the desert rock, richly decorated, and filled with treasures by generations of Pharaohs. Sail to Esna. Overnight: Cruise Ship
Day 5 EDFU & KOM OMBOSail to Edfu and visit the largest and best preserved Greek-built temple in Egypt, the spectacular Temple of Horus. During lunch sail to Kom Ombo and a visit to the Temple dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek. Overnight: Cruise Ship.
Day 6 ASWANVisit the High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple. Sail by felucca to Kitcheners Island and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Overnight: Cruise Ship
Day 7 ASWAN TO CAIRODisembark after breakfast and transfer to Aswan airport for flight to Cairo. Overnight: Semiramis Intercontinental.
Day 8 PYRAMIDS, MEMPHIS & SAKKARAToday your full day tour starts with the Pyramids of Giza and the inscrutable Sphinx, and after lunch at a local restaurant on to Memphis and Sakkara, Egypt’s capital city during the Old Kingdom and the royal burial ground. Overnight: Semiramis Intercontinental
