Itinerary
Day 1, Fri. Saigon. Arrive in Saigon
Amid the hustle and bustle, admire the beauty of 300 years of timeless traditions and ancient culture. Visit Notre Dame Cathedral, City Hall, Opera House, Reunification Palace, the War Remnants Museum, Ben Thanh Market and Dong Khoi Street. Enjoy a relaxing visit to the Botanical Gardens, founded in 1864 by the early French colonists. Dinner is on the replica 19th century Royal Vietnamese-style Dragon Boat, Bonsai 1, on the Saigon River.
Four Night Stay: Saigon, Majestic Hotel or similar

Take a day trip to the Long Tan War Memorial, travelling by Hydrofoil and coach to the battlefield. Dinner tonight is at the renowned Lemongrass restaurant.

Enjoy a free day for shopping or private sightseeing.

Day 4, Mon. My Tho
Explore the Mekong Delta, nestled along the river and dotted with rice paddies and fruit plantations. Visit Vinh Trang pagoda and take a boat trip on the smaller tributaries to visit the local floating markets, villages and plantations.

Day 5, Tue. Saigon, Siem Reap
Fly to Siem Reap. Enjoy a seven course Kymer Banquet.
Three Night Stay: Siem Reap, Hotel de la Paix or similar

Day 6, Wed. Angkor Wat
Visit the lost city of Angkor, a World Heritage-listed site containing the remains of the Khmer civilisation. The tour includes the Temples of Angkor and Angkor Wat and the Terrace of the Elephants. This afternoon is at leisure to explore the colonial and Chinese-style architecture of the city.

Day 7, Thu. Siem Reap
Head to the great Tonle Sap Lake and explore the floating villages by boat, passing submerged forests and fishing farms. The afternoon is free before our Farewell Dinner at the Foreign Correspondents Club of Siem Reap.
