Today a tour of Budapest includes Buda Castle, the Royal Palace, Hero’s Square and more, before free time.

Day 3. Budapest
After free time, transfer to your river ship this afternoon. Tonight enjoy the Captain’s Gala Welcome Dinner.

Day 4. Bratislava
In Bratislava, take a guided city tour or visit landmarks from the city’s Communist past.

Day 6. Dürnstein – Melk
Stop in Dürnstein for a tour then, before lunch, visit a local vintner for a wine tasting. After, cruise to Melk and tour Melk Abbey, located above the town.

Day 7. Linz – Passau
Today, cruise from Linz to Passau in Germany for a walking tour. Alternatively, take an optional full-day excursion to fascinating Salzburg (own expense).

Day 8. Regensburg
Arrive in Regensburg, one of Germany’s best-preserved medieval cities. Join a guided tour that includes Old Town Hall and the Porta Pretoria – gates to an ancient Roman fort built in 179 AD.

Day 9. Nuremberg
Enjoy a morning of cruising through the Main-Danube Canal and relax as you glide through the beautiful Altmühl Valley. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of Nuremberg, capital of Franconia.

Day 10. Nuremberg, Disembark Ship, Karlovy Vary, Prague
Disembark after breakfast and travel from Nuremberg via the famous spa town Karlovy Vary to Prague. On arrival, check in to your hotel then enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure to explore.
