Day 2 Helsinki

Join your local guide for a sightseeing tour of Finland’s idyllic capital today. Later this evening, enjoy a delicious Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant featuring a range of Finnish specialties.

Day 3 Helsinki, Tallinn

Sit back and relax as you enjoy a ferry ride across the Baltic Sea to Tallinn.

Day 4 Tallinn

Enjoy a city tour of Tallinn today, and visit the Old Town. Stop at the Raeapteek, one of the oldest continuously running pharmacies in Europe, having been in business in the same exact house since the early 15th century.

Day 5 Tallinn, Parnu, Sigulda, Riga

On your way to Riga, visit the city of Parnu, then stop in Sigulda to visit the intriguing ruins of the 13th-century Crusader Castle, as well as Turaida Castle. Later arrive in Riga.

Attend an exclusive Cocktail Reception and a private concert featuring members of the Mozart Boys’ Choir, a full orchestra performing classical masterpieces by Mozart and Strauss and an operatic recital. This will be an unforgettable evening you will treasure forever.

Arrive in Vienna, Austria’s capital, home to striking architecture, a rich classical musical culture and vibrant cafes. Take in many of the city’s most important landmarks during a tour along the Ringstrasse, Vienna’s famous ring boulevard officially opened by Emperor Franz Joseph I in 1865. Day 17 Bamberg

You may then choose to ride a bike along the banks of the Danube River from Durnstein to Melk, or rejoin your ship and cruise through the stunning Wachau Valley wine region to Melk instead. Disembark your river ship for a guided tour of Melk Abbey, or join a local guide for a tour of the town.

Roam Durnstein’s cobblestone lanes at your leisure and perhaps view the ruins of the castle where Richard the Lionheart, the King of England, was ­imprisoned in 1192. On select autumn departures, perhaps participate in some vineyard work at a local winery as part of the wine harvest season. Later, choose your sightseeing in Melk.

Day 20 Nuremberg

This morning your ship will arrive in the fascinating World Heritage-listed city of Bamberg, another of the few German cities that wasn’t destroyed during World War II. Day 22 Wurzburg

Walk to the Wurzburg Residence, an 18th-century palace that once belonged to the Prince-Bishops of Wurzburg. If you prefer, take a journey along the Romantic Road to the marvellous medieval town of Rothenburg where you’ll stop for a tour. Otherwise, visit a family-owned farm, where you’ll tour the property before sitting down to morning tea as you learn about local farming life.

Day 24 Rudesheim, Andernach

Day 26 Amsterdam
